How To Take Your Measurements for
Aluminum and Clear Lexan Storm Panels

  1. Start at your front door and go counter clockwise around the house identifying each opening. At each opening...

  2. Measure the Width: At each opening, first measure the width. Just the opening, don't extend onto the actual wall.

Note: Our installed panels are designed to extend at least 4 inches on all sides beyond the actual opening. Please record if there are any obstructions (e.g. columns, building corner, architectural designs, etc) that would interfere with the required 4 inches. If you should have such an obstruction, in most cases we can still install the panels by making a modification.

  1. Measure the Height: Like the width, just measure the opening's height without extending onto other surfaces.

Note: Please again record if there are any obstructions within 4 inches on either the top or bottom. In the case of a door, indicate the distance from the bottom edge to the outside lower surface. For example bottom of the door might be 6 inches up from the patio or it might be flush with the outside floor.
